Workshop Description

Parenting on your own is not half a family. It’s one person carrying the whole
load — and that deserves real tools.

In this practical 90-minute workshop, you’ll learn how to strengthen your
relationship with your child, maintain healthy boundaries, answer difficult
questions about family dynamics, protect your child’s self-image, and navigate
co-parenting challenges with confidence.

You’ll leave with practical strategies, useful scripts, and a clearer plan for
supporting both your child and yourself.

Objectives

  • Build emotional safety and a strong mother-child bond as the foundation of solo parenting.
  • Set and maintain boundaries, routines, and discipline confidently as the only adult at home.
  • Learn practical scripts for difficult questions children ask about family structure and absent parents.
  • Help children develop a healthy self-image when one parent is absent, inconsistent, or harmful.
  • Understand the difference between co-parenting and parallel parenting, and choose the safest approach when conflict exists.
  • Strengthen safeguarding and supervision when carrying the full parenting responsibility.
  • Develop sustainable strategies to manage stress and protect your own wellbeing.
