SUMMARY:Becoming: A Journey Through Change for Boys (Delivered to Boys ages
  9-12)
DESCRIPTION:Your son's body is about to change: his voice\, his height\, hi
s moods\, his world. The only question is who explains it to him first: you
and a trusted professional\, or the internet and the school playground?\nB
 ecoming is a 90-minute workshop where boys aged 9 - 12 learn what's coming\
, why it happens\, and how to handle it. The science of puberty\, the daily
hygiene habits\, the big feelings and what to do with anger\, respect for
themselves and others\, and how to stay safe. It's taught by a male therapi
st\, in a relaxed boys-only circle where no question is too embarrassing.\n
He leaves with answers\, habits\, and his own journal. You leave with a 15-
minute private follow-up\, a parent guide with the exact words to use at ho
me\, and a son who knows he can come to you.\n\nAt a glance\n\n\n\n\nFor\n\
n\nBoys ages 9–12 (boys only in the room)\n\n\n\n\nLength\n\n\n90 minutes
 \, plus a 15-minute private follow-up for each family\n\n\n\n\nLanguage\n\n
 \nEnglish \n\n\n\n\nGroup size\n\n\n8  boys maximum\, so every child can
 ask and be heard\n\n\n\n\nDate & place\n\n\n June 26th - Private group\n\n\
 n\n\nInvestment\n\n\nN/A\n\n\n\n\n \nDeveloped by Dr. Asmahan\, licensed t
herapist and  founder of Amana. Delivered by a male facilitator under her
 guidance.\n \nWhat we cover  & what we don't\nYour son will learn\n\n
Why puberty happens: the brain\, hormones as 'messengers'\, and the order c
hanges usually arrive in\n   The physical changes: growth spurts and growi
 ng pains\, voice change\, skin\, hair\, sweat — and the hygiene routine t
hat goes with them\n   The private changes explained plainly\, briefly and
respectfully\, so nothing ever frightens or shames him\n   A short\, resp
ectful word about girls' changes… so curiosity is answered and respect is
built\n   Healthy eating\, movement and sleep for a growing body  and wh
y online bodies aren't real life\n   Feelings and anger: where they come f
rom\, and tools that actually work for boys this age\n   Friendship\, fami
ly values and respect for elders. Growing up means more respect\, not less\
n   Body safety: private is private\, no uncomfortable secrets\, and exact
ly who to tell\n\nWhat we deliberately do NOT cover\nThis is body awareness
and preparation\, not sex education. There is no adult content\, no relati
onships content\, and no detail beyond what a 9-12 year old needs to feel p
repared instead of surprised. Anything a boy asks that goes beyond this sco
pe is parked\, respectfully\, for his parents. Parents may request the full
session outline before the workshop… just ask.\n \nIs my son ready? (Re
quirements to join)\nAge alone doesn't decide readiness. Here's how to know
if this is his time.\nTo join\, your son should:\n\n   Be between 9 and 1
2 years old\n   Know\, in one simple sentence\, what the workshop is about
: and be willing to come (we never recommend forcing it\; see the one-line
r below)\n   Be able to spend 90 minutes in a small group without a parent
in the room\n\nSigns the timing is right (any one of these is enough):\n\n
He's started asking questions: about his body\, his voice\, why some fr
iends are taller\, where hair comes from\n   You've noticed early changes:
  a growth spurt\, body odour\, mood swings\, oilier skin\n   His friends a
re changing\, or he's hearing half-true information at school and online\n
He's started wanting privacy: closing doors\, shy about changing clothes
\n   You simply want him prepared before the changes arrive\, instead of s
urprised by them\n\nWhen to wait or message us first:\n\n   He's under 9\,
or shows no changes and no curiosity yet. It may be wiser to wait a round\
; message us and we'll advise honestly\n   He's going through something he
avy right now (loss\, a bullying crisis\, a recent trauma). A group setting
may not be the right first step\, and we can suggest what is\n   He flatl
y refuses to attend. Don't force it\; message us for ways to soften the int
roduction\, and join a later date\n\n\n\n\n\nHow to tell him about it (one
calm line):\n“It's a workshop where a specialist explains how boys' bodie
s grow and get stronger. You’ll learn what happens to your voice\, your m
uscles\, your moods. Just boys\, no parents in the room\, and you can ask a
nything.”\n\n\n\n\n \nNot sure? That's exactly what our WhatsApp is for.
Tell us his age and what made you consider the workshop\, and we'll tell y
ou honestly whether now is the right time even if the answer is 'wait'.\n
\nQuestions parents ask before signing up\nWho teaches it?\na male therapis
t/facilitator. The session runs in Arabic or English\, whichever you choose
at sign-up.\nWill the content respect our family's values?\nYes. it's buil
t for our families. Respect for parents and elders runs through the whole s
ession\, body topics are named once\, calmly and briefly\, with family-comf
ortable language\, and there is no adult content of any kind. You can reque
st the full outline before the day.\nWhat exactly will he be told about 'pr
ivate changes'?\nThat his body grows\, that certain changes (like erections
and wet dreams) are automatic\, normal and private\, and what to practical
ly do… nothing more. The goal is simple: when it happens\, he isn't scare
d\, and he knows he can talk to you.\nWhat if my son is shy?\nHe never has
to speak. There's an anonymous question box where boys write questions on p
aper\, no names\, and we answer them together. Quiet boys often get the mos
t out of the session.\nCan I sit in?\nNope\, and that's deliberate. Boys sp
eak freely when it's just boys. Instead\, every family gets a private 15-mi
nute follow-up (in person right after\, or online)\, plus a parent guide wi
th everything covered and the exact words to continue at home.\nIs what he
says private?\nWhat the boys share in the circle stays in the circle\, that
's our promise to them\, and it's why they talk. The one exception is safet
y: if anything suggests a child is being harmed\, we follow child-safety pr
otocol and contact you.\nWhat about girls\, is there a version for my daugh
ter?\nYes! Becoming runs as a separate girls' workshop (ages 9-12) with a f
emale facilitator. Link\nHow to sign up\n\n   Register here: \n   You'll
receive a confirmation with the venue details and a short parent info shee
t\n   If you marked 'not sure he's ready'\, we'll message you on WhatsApp
for a quick\, honest readiness chat first\n   On the day: drop-off\, 90 mi
 nutes for the boys\, then your 15-minute family follow-up\n\nStill have a q
uestion? WhatsApp us: 0543247760\n\n\nPricing\nWorkshop Fee: 150 AED
